Foodie Friday

This recipe for Banana Bread is delicious! It disappeared very quickly around here, plus it's so easy to make. That's the kind of recipes that I like....short and sweet!

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Wet ingredients:

1/2 stick butter, softened

2 eggs

3 bananas - mashed

2/3 cup sugar

Dry ingredients:

Mix together 1 1/3 cup flour

3/4 t. salt

1/2 t. baking soda

1/4 t. baking powder

1/2 t. cinnamon

Combine wet and dry ingredients and pour into a greased loaf pan. Bake for 50 minutes at 350 degrees. For more scrumptious recipes please visit Designs by Gollum.

  1. Yum! I know it would disappear really fast around here!!

Do you know that you can freeze ripe banans (after they go brown). Just throw them in a freezer bag and you can pop them out whenever you want to make the bread!

    Have a great weekend!! :-)

  2. mmmmm - that looks good! You can freeze bananas, peeled and cut into pieces, which you can then add to milk shakes/smoothies. Have a good weekend!

  3. I'll be right over for a cup of coffee and a slice. Can I have mine warmed with a little butter please?
