Here are a few shots from our trip to Washington this past weekend. I have never walked so much in my whole life. Not only were my feet sore, but my hips were too. That has never happened before! We saw so much in a weekend and we took plenty of pictures. I won't bore you with all of them. (That is all at once) We did get a shot of President Obama leaving the White House for Camp David on his helicopter though. The squirrels must be so used to being fed by everyone that they came right up to you. For more Outdoor Wednesday pics, please visit Susan at A Southern Daydreamer.
Great pics. Sounds like you had a great trip. Hugs, Marty

Great pics. I always enjoy seeing the Truman balcony -- coming from the Midwest -- he missed his porch and so now, the White House has the balcony -- a porch of sorts.
ReplyDeleteWasn't it a thrill to see the President?

Did you post that squirrel picture for me? So glad to see they even live at the White House! Go woodland creatures! My hubby was there on a business trip last fall and gobbled up all the historical monuments, I think he wishes he could have been there longer to explore everything. Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteLovely photos! Happy OW!
ReplyDeleteEeekkkk! I know I should be in awe at the white house view (I am). But what caught my attention is that adorable squirrel! LoL

I know you enjoyed the visit to the capital. We were there many years ago for a few days and you're right, you do have to walk a lot. But it is fun. You had nice weather for it. We were there in the Fall and it was nice at that time also.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing.

The squirrel is so happy there because of all the nuts in Washington. Ha ha. Just kidding. I am Canadian and shouldn't comment on your countries previous politics. Excuse me.
