Met Monday

Well, we almost finished the kitchen. I was taking pictures and my camera battery died. So, while it is recharging I'm putting up the pictures that I did take before it died. I'm still not completely finished, because I still have some things to hang, but you get the picture anyway. At least the sponged walls are gone. Go by and visit Susan at Between Naps on the Porch for more metamorphosis pics.

  1. Very pretty room. I like the transformation a lot - it's much calmer!

  2. Love the transformation from the sponge walls to the clean crisp look. Very nice.

  3. Wow love the new color ! It looks real fresh
and clean ! I bet you are enjoying it too !
I read your Mothers Day post, such a sweet
    son you have !
    Hugs ~ Kammy

  4. Your new color is just beautiful. The room looks so bright and cheery. It really shows off all the gorgeous woodwork. Just lovely. Hugs, Marty

  8. Thank you Gina!

That is so kind of you and your family to read my blog. You made my day. I'm still surprised and grateful that anyone finds it interesting and reads it. ;)

Please know you are always welcome to follow along if you would like.

    Have a blessed week.

  9. Wow! what a beautiful transformation, love the walls and all, has a much softer feel but still has a warm inviting vibe, good going!

  10. WoW! It looks so much bigger with the walls solid instead of sponged. Great transformation. It's looking wonderful.

  11. I went through the sponge phase, too, in some rooms! :) It was pretty, but the room is peaceful and calm with your new paintjob! Very nice! ~Rhonda :)

  12. Love the new fresh, clean look and the Hoosier cabinet. Yours looks to be in great shape. Very nice. Had one too years ago but no room for it now~ ~Ahrisha~ ~

  13. Gina, I just found your blog from Southern Hospitality. . .I love decorating and shopping too!. Fun to see before and after shots, it turned out great. May I just add what beautiful girls you are (you, twin sister, and your mom). You mentioned work, where do you work? I'm from the Northwest, and just started my blog, trying to make some new cyber friends!!!
