Outdoor Wednesday - Stone Mountain NC

Susan of A Southern Daydreamer is hosting Outdoor Wednesday today. She is blogging about Stone Mountain, Georgia and I'm blogging about Stone Mountain NC....how funny! Anyway, Me, Hubby and Travis went hiking on Stone Mountain (NC). We walked up trails...it's not like we scaled the side of the mountain. It's only about 30 minutes from our house, so it was just an afternoon trip. We climbed to the very top and it was such a beautiful view up there. Of course we had to rest before the trip back down. Then when we got back to the bottom, there were several deer who didn't even seem to be afraid of us. Of course, we didn't get too close. Please visit Susan for more outdoor pics.

  11. Gina, we just got back from a trip to Wm'sburg, VA followed by a trip down the Blue Ridge. Oh your part of the country is so beautiful this time of the year! Of course, I am sure it is beautiful all year long. We love it in the fall, but recently discovered how beautiful it is in the late spring. Thanks for sharing!
