12th Met Monday

I'm participating in the 12th Met Monday at Between Naps on the Porch. Of course, we are still painting the kitchen. We had rounded the bend from the hallway and finished the tiny wall and the door going down to the basement. Remember last week I had painted the door the wrong color? Well now it's the right color....not that you can tell the difference, but anyway, this wall is done. I looked everywhere for a cute door knob, but was unable to find one. I actually bought one at Lowe's and had Hubby put it on, but then I hated it after it was on. So he put the old one back on until I find something that I love. Trust me...he will be so glad when this project is finished! I don't know why there is a line across the door on the bottom picture. It looks like a dent, but it's not. It must be the sunlight shining in..

  6. I had paint all over my hands and even got some in my hair this weekend! LOL So I totally sympathize! It feels like it will never be done, but when it is...what a great feeling! Your door looks great! Love the decorative pieces above the door, too! :-) Did you see the hardware/knobs that Sally just bought...she posted a Met Monday post about it...here's the link: http://sallyssalmagundi.blogspot.com

  7. I love how the door turned out Gina!! Have you tried to google door knobs? You would be surprised to see some of the specialty places they have.

I have been a little slow in catching up on my blogroll so I scrolled down and read some of your past posts. Boy, you have something to share everyday! I have to get on the ball! And speaking of balls, love the deal you got at Penneys, And the birdcage is fabulous. I love to put plants in them!

Have a great week Gina!! :-)

  8. Your painting is coming along nicely -- if there is one thing I hate to paint, hate being torn up. I know you'll be glad when everything is done!

  12. Hi Gina...

Just following your link over from Susan's Met Monday...so glad that I did! Ohhh my, sounds like you've been busy painting...that can be quite a job! That's exactly what I posted about this Met Monday! I just love your pretty egg wreath...I've been looking for one like that! Do you mind me asking where you got it...or did you make it? I love it!!! I just adore your signs also...my favorite is the green "Welcome" sign and it's so pretty with the ivy painted behind it! Simply gorgeous!!!

    Happy Met Monday!
    Warmest wishes,
    Chari
