I know ya'll think I take a lot of pictures of birds....well, I guess I really do. I just love to watch them. I saw this one sitting on my Wisteria tree this morning. I don't know what kind it is, so if anyone out there does, please let me know. I love wisteria, and mine is just starting to bloom!!! Visit A Southern Daydreamer for more outdoor posts.

Love wisteria too...may plant one someday. I enlarged your photo to get a better look at birdie (up close and personal). It looks like it could be a mockingbird...a young mockingbird perhaps? Happy Earth Day.

I love watching Birds also. I wish I had a camera that would allow me to photograph them close up.
ReplyDeleteThis is a Mockingbird. He looks fat because he is probably cold. That is when they get all puffed like that. We have an Audubon book of Birds for identifying the ones we see. We have binoculars by our window and watch for them on the feeder or elsewhere in the yard.
