Tabletop Tuesday

I recently purchased this table at my favorite furniture store, Jerry's, and knew just where I wanted to put the hallway coming into my kitchen. The only problem is that it is kind of dark being in the hall and no outlet to plug in a lamp. How did I let that happen when we were building???? Anyway, I wanted to make it summery-beachy-look, so I put a mason jar of sand on it with one of those little electric tea-lites, so I do have some light...LOL! Then I put a picture of us at the beach last year with a shell that Hubby found there and a cloche with marbles and a star fish. Then the other day, I found this sign that says Barefeet Welcome. The picture didn't turn out that great due to the lighting, but you can at least get an idea of what I was going for.....Summer! Please visit Marty over at A Stroll Thru Life, for Tabletop Tuesday.

  1. Beautiful table!! I love that beachy look, too. It brightens up this area a lot!

  2. Gina, your table is lovely & the decor charming. I am so glad I popped by ...

    Have a lovely week.

  3. Look wonderful!!! Love the barefoot welcome sign!

    Take care!!!

  4. I am in love with that coffee sign! I love everything and anything coffee! You did a wonderful job, as it looks very warm and inviting! ~Liz

  5. I love your vignette you made. I wish I had thought of putting outlets in a couple of places, too when we built our house.

  6. Good Morning, Gina! I'm popping over from Marty's TTT linky party. Your new furniture purchase is gorgeous, and I just adore the sweet beachy vignette you've created atop it. And candlelight is so much nicer anyway, right?!

Thanks for sharing. As I'm new to your blog, I can't wait to check out more of it.

    Have a fabulous week,

  7. Lovley, I love what looks like open doors!

  8. What a fun tabletop! Like the idea of the mason jar filled w/sand. You're wishing for outlets, I want wiring for wall sconces! My back hall has recessed lighting and a lamp on the table, but I wish I had sconces over it. Next house, I guess. We didn't build this one. Visiting from Marty's party.

  9. So pretty. I love the cloche, very pretty and the sand and shell are just so beachy and look like summer. Very well done and gorgeous. Thanks so much for joining TTT. Hugs, Marty

  10. thanks for stopping by gave me a chance to come and "meet you!"

I've loved looking around and can't wait to come back!!

  11. What a great little vignete. Just the thing to brighten the end of the hall.
