Met Monday

Today is Metamorphosis Monday at Between Naps on the Porch. Please visit her for more make-overs. Hubby just finished painting my front door red and I love it. He started painting it one morning while I was at work and didn't take a picture of it before he started. I do blame myself because he would have never thought to do that. Anyway, I searched through my pictures and found one last year when it snowed and I tried to zoom in so you can kinda see how the door looked before, but it wouldn't let me do it for some reason. So if you click on the picture, you can see a close up. It was stained and the storm door was also stained, which I took it down all together. I might get me a white storm door but for right now, I am enjoying it just like it is.

  9. LOVE the red door! I have been thinking of doing ours too. Glad to see you have black shutters because we are about to paint ours black (green now) and want a red door. Was 'worried' that the red w/ the black shutters wouldn't look right. Of course house isn't brick which concerns me a tad. It's a shade of grayish but not stark gray.
