Outdoor Wednesday - Tomatoes

Here is a picture of some of our tomatoes from our garden (and when I say garden, I mean 3 tomato plants out behind the house). The pictures don't do them justice, because they are really bright red and delicious! Around here, there are produce stands and farmer's market's everywhere. People grow everything and bring it to sell. This particular stand is at my Mama's neighbors house and I thought it was so cute. These are usually the hours around here in the summer time....Open Sunup till Sundown!!! and if no one is at home, there is a mason jar where you just put your money in and take what you want. This is called the honor system. Believe it or not it still works around here! I am participating in Outdoor Wednesday with Susan at A Southern Daydreamer. Please visit her for more pictures.

  1. Wow! Wonderful looking tomatoes. We have one patio plant and have had a few tomatoes, that are so tasty. Nothing like homegrown tomatoes!

  2. Oh those look delicious. I didn't know about the homor system until I moved to Kansas, and I can't tell you how much it touched my heart in this day and age! So what is your favorite thing you like to make with those delicious tomatoes?

  3. One of these days our tomatoes will be ripe and I will slap a huge slice on toast with mayo, letuce and bacon! Shake on some salt and a grind of pepper and Oh my....look what you've done!

    Love your tomatoes!
