2nd Time Around

Today, Diane at A Picture Is Worth A 1,000 Words, is hosting 2nd Time Around Tuesday. This is where you take something that was used at one time and make it into something else. Today I'm showing my sewing machine bottom that was once held a sewing machine, like you didn't know that, and turned it into a table. Mama and Daddy made this for me several years ago and I still love it. I think it has been in every room in my house. It is in the kitchen right now. Who knows where it will be next week!! For more ideas, please click over and visit Diane.

  1. Gina, that's a very clever re-use of that sewing table base! Love it!

  3. Love your table, I painted the legs on mine black and added a painted wooden top. My header on my blog is the picture of my table top that I painted.
I love how you put a glass top on yours.

  4. I had a sewing machine like that years ago - and I gave it away!! There is a new coffee shop near us where all the tables have sewing machine bases - it looks terrific!
