I love it when my blogger friends write books. Well, I feel like they're my friends anyway, even though we've never met. I always buy their books because I feel like I know them. Two books that I bought recently are The Farm Chicks In the Kitchen by Teri Edwards and Serena Thompson of the Farm Chicks and Stitched in Time by Alicia Paulson of Posy Gets Cozy. They are both wonderful books! Also Tara Frey is coming out with one on August 4th, titled Blogging For Bliss. I will definitely buy this one also. You should check out their blogs and also their books. It makes me want to write one too, but I have no idea what it would be...rambling on about something I guess!
How nice that we can support one another! You get my applause for recommending thse books. I think you could come up with something for a book! Dream big!!

looks like great books! I wish I could sew...and I love to cook!
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by. Sounds like we share the same loves. And how cute are you! Darling family. Wishing you a wonderful day and happy reading. I'm sure I'll be getting great reading ideas from you.
ReplyDeleteThese sound like wonderful books.
ReplyDeleteI just ordered Barbara Jacksier's, Waterside Cottages. I followed the journey from the beginning, through her blog. It is exciting to see her book published. I also have some of Michael Lee West's books. I feel like I know these wonderful women in real life!
I think when you follow a blog, you do feel that you 'know' the person - I think it's like when we used to have penfriends, and you got to know them through their letters.
ReplyDeleteThank you for giving a 'heads up' on these books, they both look great! I love your Patriotic display, it could be in a book too!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing. . .
Hi Gina, it really is a "small world" when it comes to blogging! I found your post through my friend Jeni at Everyday Sparkles, who you found through Tara Frey, through a post she did about me and Jeni! I am new to the blogging world, Jeni helped get me started as did Tara. Would love to have you stop by mine at http://idyllhours.blogspot.com/ for a visit, I think you and Jeni and I all share alot of the same passions. Can't wait to look at the rest of your blog, you have a beautiful family! (The most important thing in my life too!)
