Today I am participating in Outdoor Wednesday with Susan at
A Southern Daydreamer. You should visit when you get a chance to see everyone's Outdoor Wednesday pics. I was going to show pictures of the 2nd major snowfall of the winter, but it looks like everyone else was hit just as hard as we were!! Instead I have just a few shots of a rock quarry near our home. Me and Hubby were, for some reason, I don't know why, talking about rock quarries the other day, and I told him of one close by that we used to go to when we were in high school. I don't know why we used to go up there, probably because there were signs that said No Trespassing. (We were rebels like that, ya know. LOL) So last Saturday, we took a drive up there, if nothing else, just to see if I could still find it! I haven't been there in probably 30 years and guess what? It's still there! Of course Hubby said, well where did you think a giant hole in the ground would have gone? Well I was thinking maybe overgrown and filled in or something. Also, the No Trespassing signs are still there! I wish I would have taken a pic of them also. Someone has built a house right beside of it and the owner was standing out on the porch watching us. We were waiting on him to call the police so I took two quick pics and left. They are not very good but anyway you kinda get the picture!
