I've started getting my zoom lens out for my camera and taking "UP CLOSE" pictures of birds. That seems to be the only way to get near them is with the zoom lens. This robin is the only bird that even sat still for 5 seconds to let me take its picture. Hopefully more birds will soon cooperate. Drop by Susan's to see other outdoor pics.....
Isn't he beautiful. Love the zoom lens. Happy Outdoor Wednesday and thanks for sharing.

Hi Ms. Painter!
ReplyDeleteGreat picture!! Robins never cooperate unless you have a worm in your beak and I don't think you want to resort to that! But you did good!! ;-)
I am thinking of getting a new camera. Mine is great for everything except still life pics. Any suggestions?

I love watching the Robins when they come to our birdbath. Thanks for sharing.

Whenever I start to photograph a robin, the bird just hops off or decides to fly away. Nice job!

You did a great job getting the robin photo. The birds are hard to capture. I watched a female cardinal in the birdbath the other day & knew if I moved to get the camera she would be gone. So... I just enjoyed. Your little robin is a fat little thing. Must have plenty of Spring goodies in your yard.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful shot! The trees in front of my living room window house a lot of birds, but they don't stay put!
ReplyDeleteI love your header. Did you get them at Cracker Barrel?
Love your blog. Can't wait to visit again.

The other day I counted 15 robins in my yard. I couldn't get one good photo. They didn't stay still.
