Met Monday - Fall Front Door
I put some of my fall items on my front porch this weekend. I'm not finished yet, but this is a start. I got the arrangement that is on my front door at Michael's with my 50 percent off coupon, so it wasn't too bad. I also got the fake mums there too. I'm really tired of trying to keep the real ones alive and they don't seem to last that long, so I chose the fake ones. I hope they don't look too bad plus you really can't tell from the road. The garland has orange lights in it and it's really pretty at night. I know it probably sounds kinda tacky, but it really is pretty. I'm off work tomorrow, so I'll probably be shopping for some great buys. Also I hope everyone has a Happy and Safe Labor Day! For more Met Monday, please visit Between Naps on the Porch.

Oh, it all looks so pretty. I love the bright yellow mums. What a great idea. I can't grow them at all, so having the faux ones sounds perfect to me. So lovely. Hugs, Marty
ReplyDeleteI love the bright mums with your red front door. I have had real mums for years and I get so discouraged when I plant them and try to save them for the next year. I think I may try your "variety".
ReplyDeleteHave a great Monday.

I love it and the contrast with the red door. Looks homey and inviting and I couldn't tell they were fake. I love little lights anywhere and any time!!
ReplyDeleteOh Gina!
ReplyDeleteI so love that arrangement. Aren't those 40% off Michael's coupons the greatest? That made a beautiful arrangement for your front door. You can't even tell those mums are not real. They just look so refreshing. What a welcome when you walk up to the house. I am with you on these silk flowers, the Arizona sun has burnt just about everything I have planted this year. I finally gave up and decided to wait for fall. I am so tired of losing all my flowers. Thanks for sharing sweetie. Please stop by and say hi. I would love to have you visit. Country hugs, Sherry
What a great reminder about Michael's coupon. I am going to check today's Sundag paper right now.
ReplyDeleteHave a great week,
Laura

ReplyDeleteHi Gina, what a beautiful arrangement on your door! I have always loved a red door. Thanks for stopping by...the paint color is harvester by Sherwin Williams. It really is a great color. I have it in most of the rooms in my house. It makes everything pop! Kristen
