I know that Summer is not yet over, but Fall and Winter are my favorite times of the year. My favorite store, Jerry's, have started getting their Fall items in and I bought this picture there that I have been looking at for months. It's fairly large and it was hard to get a good shot of it since it's in a hallway, but hopefully you can see it pretty good. There's snow on the ground and it's nice to look at when it's 90 degrees outside. I've started decorating a little bit for fall already by burning some of my candles that smell like fall. I can't wait for it to get cooler so I can put the rest of my decorations out. If you live nearby, please go check out Jerry's because they have the BEST stuff and the BEST prices around. Here is a picture of the unwilling-not-wanting-their-pictures-taken owners. They didn't want their pictures made but I insisted, especially after I knocked something off up there today and broke it. It was the least they could do for me since I felt so bad. It is Judy (Jerry's Mama), Jerry and his wife, Penny. Aren't they all cute as can be????

ReplyDeleteGosh. It does seem like summer is almost over. Someone said they saw Fall decorations at Hobby Lobby already. I don't like time moving this fast!!
I do like your painting!! I love the horse and rider...it looks sort of solemn. Sounds like Jerry & his wife like you~they didn't make you "buy" the item you knocked over!! LOL!

ReplyDeleteI noticed Michael's has their fall stuff out. And their clearance items are great. I got some spring and summer candles for super cheap.
I like fall, but we've just started having summer finally. It has been cool during June and July. It's finally a normal hot Iowa summer! Not that we like it, but it feels "normal".

Glad to hear I'm not the only person already daydreaming about fall and winter. Fall is definately my season! I pretty much have fall colors up year round (and trust me the kids nag me about it) I can't help it, I just love it!
